Our Environmental Modeling, Analysis and Services unit provides decision-makers, developers, and institutions with cutting-edge methodologies for analyzing, modeling, and assessing environmental impacts in complex territorial and marine contexts.
Drawing on international experiences, such as our contribution to the UNEP/MAP “Methodological Guidance towards Reaching GES” under the CAMP Otranto project, we design tailor-made analytical frameworks based on the DPSIR approach, enabling structured and transparent environmental evaluations.
Our Main Methodological Framework
At the heart of our methodology lies a modular DPSIR-based architecture structured in three key phases:
- Assessment: Identification and scoring of Economic Activities, Environmental Pressures, and Status Components.
- Interactions: Evaluation of the EA→EP→SC causal chain to highlight significant correlations and pressure paths.
- Prioritisation: Ranking of key drivers and impacts to inform planning decisions and operational recommendations.
